You must stop the Flamefall!
In this pausable real time tactics horror game, you play as a team of four Ember Wardens who venture into the dark woods, searching for the Altar of Flame that you need to reignite. Exploring the darkness, fighting off creepy ambushing enemies and looting is all done with a unique combination of automatic and manual abilities that are gained through items found throughout the game.
The game is played as real time, but with the option to pause the game, evaluate the situation, queue up actions for your team and then unpausing.
It's a turn-based game where you decide the length of the turns.

The Ancient Altars of Flame in the Dark Forest are being extinguished, plunging the land into darkness and awakening the horrors the fire kept at bay
- they call it the Flamefall.
There used to be many but nowadays only a handful of people are graced with Ignis - the flame spirit. They become Ember Wardens and their mission is vital:
Reignite the altars, restore the light and uncover the mystery behind the Flamefall.
- Left click to Move you squad/Interact
- Right click and drag to rotate camera
- [Space] to pause/unpause
- 1-4 to select character
- Q, E, R to select ability - click to activate it
The Flamefall alpha demo is a very early slice of what is to come. The demo features the core loop with 4 characters fighting their way to the Altar of Light. The final game is expected to be a roguelike with a big forest map, events, shops, inventory, items, bosses and light crafting .
We will update this alpha demo for the next couple of months. Our main focus is getting feedback from you, the players!
